Plane Carrying Post Malone Makes Emergency Landing

A plane carrying 16 passengers, including rapper Post Malone, made an emergency landing in New York yesterday after two tires blew mid-flight Tuesday morning.

The Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV aircraft took off for Luton Airport in London from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey at 10:50AM yesterday.

According to the FAA, the plane was diverted to Stewart International Airport in Orange County, New York after the tires blew during takeoff.

TMZ reports the pilot continued the flight to Massachusetts to burn more fuel for a safer crash landing with the burst tires.

Malone announced his safety on twitter saying: “I landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can’t believe how many people wished death on me on this website. F— you. but not today.”

After Malone’s performance with 21 Savage and Aerosmith at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler took to twitter to wish the rapper well.

“Happy to hear @PostMalone and crew made it safely on the ground, keep rockin’ man!” Tyler tweeted.

The FAA will investigate the accident, ABC News reports.
