Kelly, a Trump supporter, also claims that this smear of Buttigieg was published without his consent. This scheme shows a glimpse into political disinformation in the #MeToo era, and may not be the last time we hear of a situation like this.

Extremist Leaders Banned from Facebook
In an effort to combat hate speech on the platform, Facebook has banned several extremist leaders such as Alex Jones of Infowars, Louis Farrakhan leader of the Nation of Islam, and Milo Yiannopoulos. The social network has previously invoked temporary bans on certain members of this list, but the bans announced yesterday are permanent as a part of the platform’s initiative to remove violent speech from the site.
