Three Sexual Assaults Reported in Two Weeks at Boise State University, Idaho

The Spring 2018 semester is off to a very disturbing start at Boise State University. With four students so far reporting sexual assaults in Spring 2018, three of them have been within the last two weeks.

The Boise State Crime Log has told students where it occurred, and they believe it was at the Honors College building at 2 a.m. The university has since sent out an email, stating that the suspect has been identified and the case is under investigation according to The Arbiter Online.

The university is required by federal law to send out a warning notice to students if a crime that is reported that is considered by the university to represent an ongoing threat to students and employees.

According to KiviTV “The number of sexual assault cases reported at Boise State University have doubled over the last two years. A safety report filed by the university in 2017 shows reports related to domestic and dating violence, and even stalking, have also increased. “
