Actor Jackson Odell Found Dead at 20

Actor Jackson Odell has passed away. His family confirmed his death in a statement to media.

Odell, who may best be known for his role as Ari Caldwell on the ABC series “The Goldbergs” or his role on Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.” Odell also had credits on “The Fosters,” and “Modern Family.” He also starred in the 2011 film “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.”

Odell was found unresponsive in San Fernando Valley sober living facility. At this time no foul play is suspected, but an autopsy is pending.

In addition to his successful guest roles on TV, Odell was also a singer and songwriter. Most recently, he wrote several songs for the soundtrack to the 2018 film “Forever Your Girl.” Odell has been in show business since the age of 12.

The Odell family shared a statement regarding the death with The Hollywood Reporter. “The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul,” the family said. “He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately.”
