‘Coco,’ ‘Scandal,’ and ‘The 40 Year-Old Virgin’ Join Netflix Lineup for May
April has come and gone, and with the start of a new month brings the possibility of enjoying the spring weather, relaxing under the sun, and gazing at the flowers blooming on every corner. Or, if you’re like most of us, staying inside, avoiding the rise of your infamous allergies, and watching Netflix marathons.
Luckily for us, Netflix has prepared new television shows and movies arriving during the month of May. This month, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman will reunite both with comedian Tina Fey and news personality Howard Stern, a longtime guest on Late Night with David Letterman. Carol Burnett will be trading the Broadway stage for season one of the Netflix original, A Little Help with Carol Burnett. Among the other top shows to make a reappearance for more seasons include Bill Nye Saves The World, Scandal, Dear White People, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
And if television shows are not your cup of tea, don’t worry because Netflix is bringing back cult classic favorites and today’s top releases. Disney’s Coco will be available on Netflix on May 29, along with classic films like The Phantom of the Opera, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Mamma Mia, and Bridge to Terabithia.
Of course, the bittersweet part about Netflix is that the television shows and films are only there for a limited amount of time. This month, several of the Disney Channel Original Movies will be making their exit, including the Camp Rock series, High School Musical, and Cheetah Girls. Will Ferrell’s Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rickey Bobby will also be leaving the platform.
