EDM DJ Avicii Has Died At The Age of 28
Grammy-nominated and Billboard Music Award winner, Swedish DJ Avicii, has died at the age of 28.
According to CBS News, publicist Diana Baron said in a statement, “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”
He had many hits such as “Levels” and the 2013 song of the summer “Wake Me Up.” Avicii retired from performing in 2016 after a string of health issues, including acute pancreatitis due to his partying lifestyle.
