Ex-FBI Director James Comey to Teach Class at Alma Mater

Former FBI Director James Comey will be teaching a class at his alma mater the College of William & Mary. Comey earned a double degree in chemistry and religion from the college when he graduated in 1982. This class, which he will be co-teaching, will be on ethical leadership, and the university is very excited to have him join their team.

Taylor Revi, the president of the College, had only praise for Comey. “Jim Comey is among William & Mary’s most distinguished alumni. Over the years, he has been deeply committed to his alma mater. He understands to the core of his being that our leaders must have an abiding commitment to ethical behavior and sacrificial service if we are to have good government. Our students will benefit significantly from his experience and wisdom.”

Back in May, James Comey was fired by President Trump, and Trump was quoted as saying “I do not have confidence in him any longer.” Furthermore, many thought that the firing of Comey was supposed to be a cover-up, as it happened during the investigation into the President’s ties with Russia.

The College of William and Mary’s student-run newspaper, The Flat Hat reports that the classes will mainly be held in the school’s Washington Center, while only one class will be held on the main campus in Williamsburg. These classes will be offered in the fall of 2018, and the spring and summer of 2019.
