Explosive Device Found at Philanthropist George Soros’ Home

The FBI has detonated a bomb found at the home of the well known liberal billionaire and philanthropist George Soros in Westchester Country, New York on Tuesday.

According to The New York Times,  “The device was constructed from a length of pipe about six inches long filled with explosive powder, and it was “proactively detonated” by bomb squad technicians, according to one of the officials, all of whom were briefed on the investigation into the device.”

 Sono’s is a U.S immigrant, who made his fortune in hedge funds, and soon became one of the countries biggest investors  pledged to invest a half-billion dollars to programs that help people who flee their home countries because of civil war, poverty or political oppression, making him an enemy to alt-right groups, due to his support of progressive causes and Democratic candidates. Many Alt-Right groups have been openly threatening him by posting his address on Twitter.

 Recently, President Trump has claimed he’s directly connected to many political controversies including the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation, pushing activists with “professionally made identical signs” and the migrant group of over 5000 making its way towards the US-Mexico border.

There are no active threats at this time, according to a tweet from the FBI of New York, but it is currently an active investigation. There has been no determination has been made about a motive.

We are conducting an investigation at and around a residence in Bedford, NY. There is no threat to public safety, and we have no further comment at this time.
