Fire Breaks out at Trump Tower Leaving One Dead

One person was killed today, and four firefighters were injured during the four-alarm blaze on the 50th floor of the Trump Tower in New York Saturday. FDNY firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro said during a press conference.

With the fire breaking out at around 5:30 P.M. it was quickly knocked down, when the FDNY declared the fire under control around 8 p.m.

This was the second fire at Trump Tower in a matter of months. Firefighters responded to a minor blaze in a cooling tower on the building’s roof in January.
