Five People Reported Dead in Savannah Military Plane Crash

A military plane crash carrying members crashed over Savannah Georgia Wednesday morning.

According to a CNN report: “The US Air Force said that an Air National Guard WC-130 from the 156th Airlift Wing in Puerto Rico went down in the area. The 165th Airlift Wing of the Georgia Air National Guard is responding to the scene, according to the Air Force. ”

The plane crashed onto state highway Georgia 21, about a mile from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, on a very busy highway. No cars or nearby homes were hit by the plane fragments.

The Associated Press reported that Capt. Jeff Bezore, a spokesman for the Georgia Air National Guard’s 165th Air Wing, said the crash killed at least five people.

Currently, there is no speculation on how the plane has crashed.
