In Colbert Interview, James Franco denies sexual misconduct allegations
Actor James Franco, who was awarded a Golden Globe on Monday for his performance in ‘The Disaster Artist,’ said claims of sexual misconduct against him “were not accurate” during an interview with Stephen Colbert last night.
According to a report in The Guardian, “Actor-director Sarah Tither-Kaplan alleges that Franco exploited her by asking her to perform nude in two of his films for $100 per day, while actor Violet Paley alleges that Franco tried to force her to perform oral sex on him while in a car.”
A couple weeks ago, James offered me & a few other girls an overdue, annoyed, convenient phone “apology”. I don’t accept, but maybe some other people’s lives would be made easier if he donated all of his earnings from “The Disaster Artist” to @RAINN01.

“The way I live my life, I can’t live if there’s restitution to be made. I will make it. So if I’ve done something wrong, I will fix it. I have to. I mean, I think that’s how that works. I don’t know what else to do,” Franco told Colbert in the interview, which was marked by several silences.
Actor Ally Sheedy, who starred in 80s classic “The Breakfast Club,” also tweeted remarks that seemed aimed at Franco, though her tweets were later deleted, but screenshots of which have circulated online for the past several days.
“Why is James Franco allowed in? Said too much,” Sheedy tweeted during the Golden Globes ceremony. “James Franco just won. Please never ever ask me why I left the film/tv business.”
