iPhone X is Failing in Market Sales
Apple analysts claim the latest iPhone will not hit the sales peaks the company was targeting. The analysis from Ming-Chi Kuo has opened up rumors that the phone will be discontinued as soon as its replacement hits the market mid-2018.
In his report, Kuo said, “The iPhone X would hurt product brand value and lineup of new models if it continues to sell at a lower price after the new model’s launch.”
The iPhone X is failing to sell because it didn’t meet expectations, as consumer sales have gone down. Also, discounting the value of the iPhone X would likely hurt the phone sales on a new trio of devices from Apple being released later this year.
The discontinuation rumors have also focused attention on the controversial new features included with the iPhone X. The facial identification feature has buyers going Twitter crazy on how it may be the best in recognition technology so far, but people still miss their finger prints, home screen buttons, and not having to deny themselves make-up and sunglasses for the recognition to work.
