‘Legally Blonde 3’ Set to Release Valentine’s Day 2020
Reese Witherspoon, known for her iconic role as Elle Woods in the original 2001 “Legally Blonde,” confirmed early Thursday afternoon that she would be returning to the big screen for a third time.

“Legally Blonde” follows a sorority girl, attempting to win back her ex-boyfriend by getting a law degree from Harvard University. Known for her upbeat personality and a wardrobe full of pink, Woods story reminds viewers that they should “always have faith” in themselves.

A video of Witherspoon, was first shared on the actress’ Instagram and Twitter page. She was dressed in a pink bikini, floating in a pool — referencing a scene in the movie. Witherspoon wrote the caption, “It’s true…#LegallyBlonde3,” and social media went crazy.
The original blockbuster film, was a success, grossing $141. 8 million worldwide. The sequel, “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde,” followed behind making $124.9 million at the box office. It is set in the nation’s capital, and focuses on Woods career as she expands into the world of politics.
