Logic to Release Debut Novel in March
Logic has announced that his first novel, Supermarket, is set to be released on March 26, through publisher Simon & Schuster.
The 1-800 rapper explained the details of his book, characterizing the novel as a “gripping exploration into madness and creativity,” and a “darkly funny psychological thriller.” The plot follows a “depressed” character named Flynn, who must deal with the revelations inside of his “tortured mind.”
According to XXL magazine, Logic first talked about the novel back in October 2017, and finished it a few months later.
The news capped off what was a huge year for the Maryland artist, one where he catapulted to superstardom with the release of his critically acclaimed Everybody album.
Logic released two mix-tapes in 2018, and also announced the completion of a movie he’s starring in called, Everything Must Go. The film will be produced under J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot company, and currently doesn’t have a release date.
The rapper recently dropped “Keanu Reeves,” his first track of 2019.
As far as Supermarket goes, Logic also announced that he will be the one voicing the audio book. The book can be pre-ordered on sites like Amazon or Barnes & Noble, with prices generally hovering around $11.75.
