Michelle Obama’s Memoir is out on November 13
A little over a year into the world we now call Trump’s America, many are challenged in finding inspiration or guidance from a place of trust. Not for much longer, however.
Sunday night, former First Lady Michelle Obama took to Twitter to announce the release date of her upcoming memoir, Becoming:November 13, 2018.
“I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to be whoever they aspire to be,” she wrote. “I can’t wait to share my story.”
Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience. I talk about my roots and how a girl from the South Side found her voice. I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can't wait to share my story. https://t.co/d7DxEG85NK

Becoming will tell the tale of her entire life, and will give readers insight into how she challenged what’s “normal” in this world and became the powerful woman she is known as today.
One million copies are set to be donated to a nonprofit providing reading materials for children across North America, First Book.
