Taylor Swift’s Stalker Avoids Jail Time with 10 Year Probation Sentence

Frank Andrew Hoover was sentenced today for the stalking of none other than Ms. Taylor Swift.

Hoover initially got in trouble, due to threatening emails to the singer’s father between May 2015 and October 2016. In the most troubling of the emails, Hoover threatened to kill Swift and her entire family. He was then arrested after he showed up at one of her gigs in Austin, and the move violated a pre-existing protective order.

TMZ stated “Hoover pled guilty to repeatedly violating the order, and Monday he was sentenced to 10 years probation. Additionally, his whereabouts will be monitored by GPS for at least the first year. He has to stay a mile away from Taylor and her family. Hoover also has to complete psychological testing, and attend substance abuse classes, surrender all firearms and undergo random drug testing.”

If he does not follow these strict guidelines, he risks being thrown right into jail.
