The Garden Club of America Announces Scholarships
Whether you are study or want to research in the environmental and horticultural areas and in need of funds, The Garden Club (GCA) is accepting applications for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
According to recent press release, “GCA scholarships are available to qualified students seeking funding for study or research in the areas of Botany, Coastal Wetland Studies, Conservation, Desert Studies, Ecology, Garden History & Design, Horticulture, International Study, Landscape Architecture, Native Bird Habitat, Native Plant Studies, Pollinator Research, Public Horticulture, and Urban Forestry. The GCA offers 28 merit-based scholarships and fellowships awarding more than $308,000 in 2018.”
All applicants must be citizens of the U.S. or permanent residents who are enrolled in U.S. institutions. The deadlines are in January and February 2019.
