The Hills are Ablaze…With the Loss of Music
There are two things of which the state California has a surplus: Dry weather and famous musicians.
The current fires in California have ravaged over 130,00 acres of land as of Wednesday morning and claimed 50 lives, making it the most deadly wildfire incident in the state’s history. At least 265,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.
Among these evacuees is Miley Cyrus, who confirmed that she and fiancé Liam Hemsworth (along with their pets) lost their home to the fire.

Additionally, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit have posted photos and videos in honor of their fallen homes and sound equipment.
The Woolsey Fire in Malibu claimed Neil Young’s house, which is unfortunately not the first time he has lost a house in a wildfire.
The Woolsey Fire is 35% contained as of this writing, with full containment expected by November 18th.
