Twitter Reacts: Kylie Jenner Pierced Baby Stormi’s Ears
Kylie Jenner recently pierced her daughter Stormi’s ears, at the young age of five months old. Kylie’s decision has raised some questions about the safety of having such a procedure done on babies, since many experts recommend that parents wait until their child is old enough to care for the piercings themselves; and as always, Twitter has something to say about it.
In Nigeria babies literally get their ears pierced the day after they’re born and Kylie Jenner’s being slated for piercing her 5 month old daughter’s ears lmaooo it’s really not a big deal, people find everything to be mad about these days 🙄🤦🏾♀️

this is so annoying. Yea I’m a judgy person (especially about the kardashian/Jenners) but stop insinuating that Kylie is a bad mother for piercing her baby’s ears at this age.
My pediatrician literally pierces ears at 5 months because that is when it is safe to do so. https://t.co/Vbu9RbHyky— BRIANNA (@briannayhp) July 16, 2018
I was pierced at birth. Still alive and my ears are still completely healthy. Stops the insanity.

Is the piercing necessary?
Is it permanent?
Is the child old enough to consent?
Can it be done at any time in their life?

It’s safe if done by a trained professional. I work in a pediatric office and one of our MD’s pierces ears, starting as young as around 8 weeks, after the first set of vaccinations. We only use medical grade products.

Most people on Twitter are agreeing that Kylie had every right to pierce Stormi’s ears, especially if the procedure was done in a safe, clinical setting. Keep on, Kylie.
