Viewpoint: Hannity’s Hissy Fit Over Mueller Probe Is Unethical
Over the last few years, Hillary Clinton and her wide left supporters have been investigated time and again over mishandling of electronic information. Last night Sean Hannity expressed on his talk show that the witnesses in the Mueller investigation ought to, “follow Clintons lead” by tampering with their cellphones and emails in order to sabotage the evidence, giving the wide left side of our politics a taste of what he called, “equal justice under the law.”
Robert Mueller is investigating members of President Trump’s campaign for collusion with the Russians, and while members of the right deny the allegations by calling it a “witch hunt” and a “hoax,” others like Sean Hannity have taken to mocking the justice system and simply implying that one party cover up their crimes just as the other has.
Sean Hannity has throughout President Trump’s reign been an unethical voice for the right side, an anger translator to the president of such, and often shares similar thoughts an opinions to his friend Donald. When Hannity speaks on his show, his words can not be taken too lightly as to how the chair in the White House feels about the topic, and the president has not been quiet in his scolding of Clinton’s party and their mishandling of emails during their investigation. Now the tables are turned, and the only back bone the right side has to use is the same excuses they used throughout their presidential campaign.
With their backs against the wall, Sean Hannity and other right-wing television voices continue to beat the dead horse of emails and cellphones, instead of presenting facts. They have challenged the witnesses of the Mueller probe to, “Delete all your emails, and then acid wash the emails and hard drives on your phones, then take your phones and bash them with a hammer into little itty-bitty pieces.” It seems the higher powers are proposing a wash over corruption at this point in time, until the rope pulls in one direction or the other once again.
