Amazon Introduces Real Time Package Tracking Application
The Amazon Map Tracker: the feature shoppers never knew they needed.
After a hushed introduction last month, the Amazon Map Tracker, an application where shoppers can live track their package, has been growing and spreading across the US. Similar to the GPS tracking of an Uber, shoppers can see how many stops away their package is and just how far the driver is from the destination.

“The Amazon Map Tracking feature is another delivery innovation we are working on to improve convenience for our customers and provide them greater visibility into their deliveries,” Amazon spokeswoman Alana Broadbent explained.
Whoever at @amazon decided to add a map feature to tracking your package when it’s out for delivery is wonderful and I love them 😂 it says how many deliveries before yours!!!

The Amazon Map Tracker only operates with deliveries through Amazon’s logistics and server. It is not applicable for UPS, FedEx or USPS.
Avid Amazon shoppers have took to social media to express their thoughts on the new advancement, many thanking Amazon for something they seem to have always wanted.
Thanks @amazon for updating your package tracking system bc now I can feverishly stalk the guy delivering my package. It has a map now so I can tell he is 8 stops away from me only 2 streets over. The future is now people.
