Bradley University’s Biomedical Science Student Shot and Killed

Early Sunday morning, a Bradley University student from Chicago was the next victim of horrible gun violence.

Nasjay Murry was just 18 years old, when she and a 22-year-old man were shot and killed at a party near Bradley University.

Reports from the Peoria Journal Star claim “Police were called to the Bradley address at 1:44 a.m. on a report of shots fired, and observed a large number of people fleeing the residence, they said in information released overnight.”

Murry was a freshman in Bradley University’s Biomedical Science program, and was on track to be the first person in her family to graduate college.

This was unfortunately one of many slayings here in Chicago this weekend, making it one of the bloodiest yet. Reports claim that a teenage boy was shot and killed and at least 14 other people were wounded in shootings during the course of the weekend.
