Criminal Minds Celebrates 300 Episodes

**If you have not watched Criminal Minds, beware of all the spoilers ahead.**

If you are like me and like binge watching television shows on Netflix, Criminal Minds was one of those for me. This show always showed up on my Recommended List and I thought, ‘hey, let me give it a shot.’

Something about wanting Dr. Reid to not suffer anymore (#JusticeforReid) or when he spits out statistics when he could was a reason to continue watching. Or when Gideon gave Reid Redskins tickets for a date with JJ (shout out to season 1!) Or when Maeve died and my heart broke for Reid. This show put me through so many emotions, I cannot explain.

But 300 episodes later or 14 Seasons, I continued to watch. (And yes I did invest all that time watching this show.)

Season 13 ends with Penelope, the BAU’s (FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit) Tech Analysis, with a gun pointed to her head along with Dr. Reid point a gun to VICAP Agent Mary Meadows who is also pointing a gun to him. We eventually see Reid give in and join Penelope with the Messiah. The Messiah was cult leader who was recruiting soon to be serial killers. In Season 14, you then put the connection of where the BAU have seen Agent Meadows and the Messiah before in previous season.

Season 14 eventually picks up right after Reid and Penelope gets abducted. However, for me, that felt like a long time due to me finishing Season 13 two months before the new season started.
