If you only go to one festival in 2019, it should be… Bonnaroo

Editor’s Note: As part of our ongoing Music Journalism Course, our music team was asked to choose from 10 U.S. music festivals and make a case for the best of 2019.

Bonnaroo’s festival lineup is going to be the best of any U.S. festival in 2019. It features some my favorite artists including Flume, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Glass Animals, Crystal Castles, Flatbush Zombies, G Jones, Rezz, and Ganja White Night.

There are many musicians that are from different communities and genres and I think it would be a super dope experience.

Aside from the lineup, the environment around the festival offers a lot of workshops, delicious food choices, and a crowd with different interests. You might meet new friends you might be able to call “family” in the future.

Having been a festival traveler myself, visiting Lucidity, Symbiosis, and underground desert raves starting in 2015, I have always had a good time at festivals, whether it’s walking around with my friends to see the beautiful art, live painters, and music — or walking alone and eventually meeting someone or a group along the way.

I believe Bonnaroo will have the hospitality and good vibes it looks like it has from their videos. Since the lineup is a mix of a lot of different genres of electronic music, rock, and hip-hop the crowd is going to be very diverse coming from different scenes but that is what will make the Bonnaroo festival beautiful is diverse crowds coming together.

In conclusion, The lineup is fire and the festival gives me good vibes when watching videos about it. What more do you need to know?
