Last Blockbuster in America gets its own Craft Beer

The last standing Blockbuster Video in Bend, Oregon announced it will get its own craft beer called “The Last Blockbuster” by 10 Barrel Brewing Co.

According to Business Insider, The beer will be released at a bloc party on September 21 and available for a limited time at all 10 Barrel Brewing Company locations.

The 22-oz black ale honors the once popular chain by pairing “perfectly with with buttery theater popcorn” and “movie-sized chocolate,” 10 Barrel Brewing cofounder Chris Cox, said.

Oregon became home to the lone Blockbuster Video in America after the closure of two stores in Anchorage, AK in July.

Other video stores in Oregon like Movie Madness, have developed beers as well to pay homage to Oregonians’ love for beer and films Thrillist reports.

Fans of the chain continue to visit the store from across the country to snap pictures revel in nostalgia Delish reports.
