Starbucks Reveals New Limited Time Frappuccino

Yesterday Starbucks revealed a new drink, The Crystal Ball Frappuccino, which consists of ice, milk, peach-infused syrup, peach-flavored whipped cream and candy gems on top that “reveal your fortune.” Like other Starbucks drinks, the Crystal Ball Frappuccino is customizable, so you can change the type of milk or syrup that it has. The candy gems on top of the drink reveal your “fortune,” depending on their color. Blue reveals adventure. Purple reveals magic. Green reveals luck.

However, buyers should beware when considering purchasing this treat: a grande-sized Crystal Ball Frappuccino is reported to have 55 grams of sugar! The drink also comes with a hefty price tag at $4.95 for a tall, which is Starbucks’ smallest size.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll probably try the drink just to say that you’ve tried it. If you decide that you want to give the new Frappuccino a shot, you’ll have to get to your local Starbucks soon since the new drink will only be around for a few days.
