The Carters Drop Surpise Album

Beyoncé, Beyoncé, Beyoncé, what did I ever do to you?! Why must you attack me like this? Jay-Z, you too, I guess.

Four hours ago, Beyoncé and Jay-Z announced during their second London show of their On The Run II (OTR II) Tour that a new album was available exclusively on their streaming service Tidal. The album titled “Everything is Love” was tweeted about on Beyoncé’s Twitter, which is used so little I’m pretty sure she had to blow the cobwebs off of it before she typed the tweet.

I live on the east coast so fours ago it was 6 o’clock for me! I was napping, I like to nap! I woke up to notifications on top of notifications of people spazzing over this surprise drop!

Twitter was alive with people who had Tidal and those running to get it.

The beyhive hasn’t had new music from Bey since Lemonade and we were thirsty. While it’s only been four hours and I have only given the album to full listens my first impression is…. drum roll, please….. I LOVE IT! The beats, Jay’s rhymes, Trapyoncé and just the collaborative spirit.

They threw shots at the Grammy’s, the Superbowl and Spotify on this album and that’s the shade I caught from only two listens I am expecting more.

An album review is coming, once I’ve had time to really digest and dissect this masterpiece. A review of Apeshit as a single, song and video is coming as well! I’m excited! Yoncé did not come to play!
