U.S. Out of Iran Nuclear Deal, Further Into Isolation
President Trump announced yesterday that the U.S. will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal and reinstate economic sanctions against Tehran.
The Washington Post reports, “Trump’s decision, announced at the White House, follows the failure of last-ditch efforts by Britain, France and Germany to convince him that his concerns about ‘flaws’ in the accord could be addressed without violating its terms or ending it altogether.”
While the move continues the president’s dismantling of Obama-era policies, it also angered many longtime U.S. allies, partly because it will place sanctions on companies that do business with Iran, including many American businesses.
Netflix News You Need to Know
Netflix has been announcing additions, deletions and extensions to its programming plans in recent days and the CMN team has been all over the news.
Kimmy Schmidt, a beloved character and Netflix original, will be cancelled after four seasons. The students of Liberty High — and Clay Jensen — are back for a second season of 13 Reasons Why, which premieres on May 18. And the network is all set for a third season of Santa Clarita Diet, starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant.
Cornell Student Presents Thesis In Her Underwear
A Cornell University student presented her honors thesis while wearing only her undergarments last week in an effort to stand against “oppressive beliefs and discrimination,” according to a report from Campus Reform.
Letitia Chai’s presentation was a response to her Acting in Public professor Rebekah Maggor questioning the appropriateness of her attire in class, which consisted of a “long-sleeve blue button-down shirt and denim cut-offs,” according to Chai’s Facebook post on May 2.
Audrey Bowers looks for the near-naked truth in her report for CMN.

Last But Not Least: It’s Not Delivery, It’s Panera. Oh Wait, It’s Panera Delivery!
Starting today, fast casual giant Panera Bread will be offering delivery from more than half of its 2,300 restaurants across 43 states.
Unlike many restaurants using third party delivery services like UberEats or Grubhub, Panera will be using its very own team to deliver orders. By making the decision to hire its own drivers, the company says more than 13,000 jobs have already been created.
They are also offering a free cup of soup with every delivery order today ($5 minimum). Danielle Germain has the other details you need in her story.
