Trump and His Legal Team Pressuring Russia Investigation

Taking his most aggressive stance yet on the investigations surrounding the 2016 election, President Trump took to Twitter to demand that the Justice Department look into whether it or the FBI spied on his presidential campaign.

Meanwhile, the president’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Sunday that he has information that special counsel Robert Mueller plans to wrap up the probe into Trump’s potential wrongdoing by September 1.

Whether Trump will concede to speak to Mueller, or the FBI actually spied on the Trump campaign because they thought it was working with Russian operatives, will hopefully be revealed when all the White House drama settles down


In Texas, Mourning and A Culture of Guns

After Friday’s school shooting at Santa Fe High School — which took the lives of eight students and two teachers — there was mourning this weekend.

But the long standing gun culture in Texas makes it unlikely there will be a Parkland-style student revolt after the latest chapter in this ongoing American tragedy.


Big Changes in Starbucks Policies

On Saturday, Starbucks informed employees of the official policy in a letter stating that the company aims to create, “a culture of warmth and belonging where everyone is welcome.” Creating such an environment involves opening restrooms, patios, and cafes to non-paying guests.
