HQ Trivia releases Android version, breaks one million player barrier

2018 is off to an incredible start for that addictive smartphone app HQ Trivia.

Nearly 1.2 million people logged on to play the game last night — a new record for the app. That’s like, a lot of people to be on any app at the same time.

HQ Trivia is free and awards actual cash to winners. Last night’s prize was $10,000, which was split between nearly 400 people who picked up $25 each.

The app recently released an Android version, which might account for huge number of participants.
