The big story…

Pete Buttigieg Announces 2020 Presidential Campaign

Mayor of South Bend Pete Buttigieg officially announced his presidential campaign on Sunday, adding to the fast-growing list of Democrats looking to take on President Trump. CNN reports, “Buttigieg cast his candidacy as a direct rebuttal to Trump’s campaign — including his slogan “Make America Great Again” — and highlighted his belief that the country needs both a generational change and an entirely different political figure to lead the country past Trump. Buttigieg’s argument is that he, a gay, veteran mayor from the Midwest, is just that kind of different politician.”

Hardly known about a month ago, Buttigieg has shown to be ranked in the polls alongside candidates like Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren. If Buttigieg won the election not only would he be the country’s first openly gay president but he would also be the first person to go from mayoral office directly to the White House.

NBA Playoffs: Western Conference Predictions

The “Wild Wild West” is back and loaded with great teams. It wasn’t until the last game of the season for the seeding to become set in stone, causing middle of the pack teams to switch. Track Review: Jorja Smith’s ‘Let Me Down’

British R&B singer songwriter Jorja Smith’s jazz-tinged raspy voice is captivating on “Let Me Down,” which features UK grime artist Stormzy. If Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse morphed into completely different artist, it would sound like Smith on this track. The single was released in January 2018 to promote her upcoming tour.
