Suspected Sonic Attack May Have Been Crickets
A recording of a suspected sonic attack on the U.S. Embassy in Havana, Cuba in 2016 has been analyzed. And the answer to the strange high-pitched noise that plagued U.S. officials: crickets. This does not necessarily rule out the possibility of a sonic attack or delegitimize the symptoms of the victims — it just means that the selected recording, which was widely circulated in the media, was not the sound of a sonic attack.

Kevin Spacey Appears in Court, Pleads Not Guilty
Kevin Spacey had his first day in court yesterday to face charges of a groping an 18-year-old man at a bar in Nantucket, Mass. Spacey pleaded not guilty to the charge, which may prove problematic if the rumor that the plaintiff has video evidence of the attack is true. The celebrity was also reportedly pulled over for speeding on his way home from court.

Yesterday, Amazon surpassed Microsoft as the most valuable publicly traded company in the world, with a market value of $796.8 billion. This ends Microsoft’s short-lived tenure as the most valuable company following their overtake of Apple in November.
