Democratic Candidates Hold First CNN Town Halls
The five leading presidential candidates — Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, and Amy Klobuchar — held the first CNN town halls last night. Impeachment was a hot topic, with Harris, Warren and Buttigieg saying go for it while Sanders and Klobuchar said let’s focus on re-election. All in all this was a good dry run for the first 2020 presidential debate set to take place in June.

Another Boeing Jet Faces Investigation
While you’ve definitely heard about the investigation into the Boeing 737 Max 8, which was involved in crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia killing 346 people total, now another Boeing jet may face investigation as well: the 787 Dreamliner. The New York Times uncovered issues at a Boeing plant in South Carolina where workers have complained about possible safety issues and shoddy work.

Investigators Look Into Local Islamist Group in Sri Lankan Attacks
Several bombs placed in hotels and churches killed at least 320 people in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. More than a week prior to the attacks, an intelligence memo warned that a possible attack might occur, leaving some wondering if preventive measures could have been taken. Government officials believe the attacks were carried out by the group National Towheed Jamaar in retaliation for the shootings at two mosques in New Zealand last month.
